KP Youth Track Meet

Join us for the KP Youth Track Meet, a fun, interactive, FREE event for students entering grades K through 8th! Participants will rotate through a variety of track and field stations, led by King Philip and Franklin High School athletes, including the 100m dash, long jump, hurdles, shot put, javelin, high jump, speed and agility challenges, and relay races. Whether your child is new to track or already loves to compete, this event is a great opportunity to be active, learn new skills, and have fun with friends from across the King Philip and Franklin communities!

This meet will be run by three student athletes (learn more about them below) with the assistance of their teammates, coaches, and parent volunteers. This is a drop-off program, but parents are welcome to stay and observe.

At the meet, their mission is to inspire and encourage younger athletes to be active, get involved, and hopefully join track or another high school sport in the future. They are organizing this event as their Community Project through the Hockomock Leadership Executive Ambassador Program (LEAP), which all three of them are members of.
