Power Kids Run Club - PKRC - 5K Club Run & Mindfulness Club Ages 4+Our focus will be on enhancing running skills through various drills, while also incorporating methods to strengthen the mind-body connection, including self-talk, guided visualization, and breathing techniques. This class aims to improve endurance, boost confidence, and foster mindfulness, empowering participants to achieve their goals and handle stressful situations effectively. It's a great opportunity to prepare for any sport or to pursue fitness independently! We will wrap up the season with a fun 1-mile run/walk. Everyone of all fitness levels is welcome. Every participant who completes the run will earn a medal and receive some awesome swag. This class is designed for ages 4+Thursdays 4:00pm-5:00pmDATES: 9/19, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, (NO 10/31), 11/7, 11/142K Club Ages 5-8This co-ed 2K club is a great way to introduce running and physical fitness. Kids will learn about pace, form, teamwork, and how to build their confidence to end the season with a FUN 2K run/walk. All fitness levels are welcome.Wednesdays: 4:00-5:00pmDATES: 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, (NO 10/9), 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13 5K Club Ages 8+This co-ed 5K club will be a great way to become stronger physically and mentally. We will work on setting goals, build strength of character, speed, agility, form, and endurance! We will build mileage over time and end the season with a 5K fun run.
